RIPE
RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) is a not-for-profit organization responsible for the allocation and registration of Internet number resources, such as IP addresses and autonomous system numbers, in Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia. It was established in 1992 to manage and distribute IP address space to Internet service providers and other organizations. RIPE also engages in policy development related to Internet governance and collaborates with other regional Internet registries to ensure the smooth operation of the global Internet.
