Carwow
Carwow is a UK-based online platform designed to simplify the car buying and selling process for both consumers and dealers. Founded in 2010 by James Hind, David Santoro, and Alexandra Margolis, the company provides users with the ability to compare offers for new and used cars from a network of trusted dealers. Carwow aims to make the process transparent by allowing users to compare prices, the locations of dealerships, and customer reviews. Initially started as a car review aggregator, Carwow pivoted to its current model in 2013 to directly connect buyers with dealers. The platform generates revenue by charging dealerships a fee for each sale made through the site. Over the years, Carwow has expanded its services and geographic reach, including launching operations in Germany and Spain.
