Condor is a German airline headquartered in Frankfurt. Established on December 21, 1955, under the name Deutsche Flugdienst GmbH, the airline was initially a joint venture between four entities: Norddeutscher Lloyd, Hamburg America Line, Deutsche Lufthansa, and Deutsche Bundesbahn. It was later renamed Condor Flugdienst GmbH in 1961. Over the decades, Condor has evolved, expanding its fleet and range of destinations, and has undergone several ownership changes.
